St Philip's 1-2 Oldfield Park Juniors

Today witnessed the re-arranged cup game that had been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch back in early March.  Thankfully the weather smiled down on us with blue skies adorning the Odd Down Sports fields.

It proved a close match in which the girls' St Philip's team narrowly lost out to OPJS.  The game started quickly with a goal for the visitors inside three minutes, but ten minutes in and Alice equalised, striking high into the roof of the net. Just before half time and St Philip's trailed again. 

The second half saw many chances but no goals.  The game was hard fought and both sides gave it their all.  Special mention to Rose who ran tirelessly all game. A big well done to all the girls!
