Girls' Football Festival

Today the girls made a valiant effort in the girl's football festival held at the Odd Down Sports Ground.  On a rare sunny day, they got off to a great start. Alice scoring with a determined run and then finish to cap off a fine display 1-0 to St Philip's vs St Stephen's. After a hard earned draw vs Combe Down (1-1 with Alice scoring once more), the team faced WASPS.

Only a win would do and St Philip's achieved it with goals from Alice and a long-range thrunderous strike from Isla!

Next, the Quarter Final match vs Moorlands.  This would prove a close game and after 5 mins St Philip's trailed; a cross swept in by the Moorlands attacker. Despite a great effort to draw level, it was not to be!
