Science investigation (Hawk)

Yesterday we carried out a hands-on science investigation linked to the human digestive system.  We recreated the journey food takes from when we put it into our mouth all the way through the stomach and intestines ... to its final destination!  It was messy and also a little bit stomach-churning (!) and the children won't forget this piece of learning for a while!
