Eagle Class science

Today in science, Eagle Class were learning about digestion using a practical demonstration. 

First, we used our teeth (hands) to cut, tear and grind our food (bread, bananas and crackers) mixing it with saliva (water) so it could travel down our esophagus into our stomach (bowl). There it was mixed with stomach acid (orange juice) before travelling through our small and large intestines (tights) before coming out the other end!
