Art in Kestrel Class

In art this term, we have delved into textiles. Having been inspired by Grayson Perry's tapestries and maps, we created our own hand-stitched maps which share special journeys. Some of us even managed to intricately stitch a compass. During this process, we learned a variety of stitches, including running stitch, back stitch, and star stitch. At times, it really tested our perseverance!
