The school council comprises 1
boy and 1 girl representative from each class in Key Stage 2.
They meet about twice a term to
discuss issues through the school that affect them and consider
what they can do to improve their school.
These are our School Council
Representatives.

We have discussed lots of different issues that
affect the children in the school and we try to make decisions
that will make the school a better place for children.
Since September 2006, the school council have:
-
chosen and purchased new
cutlery and plates for dinner
-
written to various
companies to ask for prizes for their competitions (sadly
none replied)
-
had new computers through
the school and in the suite
-
relocated the bins on the
playground
-
run a competition to
design an anti-bullying poster and chosen 12 winning posters
to be displayed through the school
-
decided on running a
sponsored spell to raise money to replace the ropes on the
Key Stage 1 playground equipment.
-
Agreed that Year 5 & 6
children can have cushions to sit in in class.
-
purchased new flashback
whiteboards for all the junior classes
-
arranged to have the chess
pieces put out at playtime
-
requested a sports board
in the foyer
-
seen the introduction of
monitors to reduce the amount of congregating to 'chat and
goof about' by the drinking fountains and toilets
