Christmas Festivals

St Philips Primary School celebrate in style at Christmas time.  All the children perform beautifully - Different groups take different parts of the Christmas story and tell it in traditional readings and dance.

EASTER SERVICE

The children lead us through the Easter story with style. We celebrate the life, death and resurrection of Jesus.

HARVEST FESTIVALS

The produce we collect is donated to ‘The Genesis Trust’. The Genesis Trust is a Bath-based Christian charity seeking to support and help the neediest in our community. They provide: Food and shelter for the homeless, Practical, emotional and spiritual support for the most vulnerable in society, Help for them to address issues and establish themselves in society, Low cost furniture for those on benefit and Work placements and training. Infant and Junior Festivals

At the end of the year, all the children take part in either the Infant Festival or the Junior Festival.  This is a celebration of songs, dances and acting.  We believe that the curriculum is so much more than attainment in English and Maths. These events provide the children with another dimension to their learning and experience.  These festivals are open to parents and friends alike and are held in the church so we can fit more in.

LEAVERS' SERVICE

At the end of each year we meet in the church for a leavers' service.  Parents and friends are invited and we wish the Year 6 children 'Bon voyage'.
