NSPCC

We raised over £2000 for the NSPCC during a sponsored spell.  Well done everyone this was a fantastic effort.  A special well done to Osprey class who returned 84% of their forms (the national average is 40%)

The children had a surprise visit from Santa during the Infant and Junior Discos.  The disco was in aid of CLIC, we raised £247.85.

RED NOSE DAY

St Philips Primary School Staff and children raised a handsome £272.55 for Comic Relief during their "Wear it Big" Day on Friday March 16th 2007.

TED'S BIG DAY OUT

We managed to raise nearly £300 pounds for the R.U.H. and Ted's Big Day Out.  Children came in non uniform and we all brought our teddies to school. We had a special assembly where Big Ted came to collect the money we raised.

Poppy Appeal

We raised about £40 by selling poppies. The money went to the Royal British Legion.

PTA Crazy Hair Day & Cake Sale

Many thanks for your support for these events … we raised £350 which we presented to the Beech family on Friday during Assembly.  This will help to fund the family's trip to represent the country in Baton twirling.

Operation Christmas Child

We collected 95 boxes for Operation Christmas Child.

Well Done everyone for such a super contribution.  I am sure the children who receive these will be most grateful.

BUSKING

In spite of the bad weather we gathered to sing carols in the town centre again this year and raised £132.36 for CLIC.
